Pedro Martínez and Aida Pérez were the winners of the 'Gegant de Pedra'

The Dianenses athletes Pedro Martínez of Esports Colau in men and Aida Pérez of the Baleària Diànium Athletics Club in women, were the winners of the seventh edition of the mountain race, “Gegant de Pedra"Held in Ondara.

The race was attended by 265 350 runners and walkers. They all enjoyed a pleasant morning by a mountainous area of ​​great beauty and stunning views, as is the Sierra de Segària.

The first rider to complete the course was Pedro Martínez with a time of 1: 51: 58. Second place was the pedreguero, Pablo Ramírez of Esport Colau with a mark of 1: 52: 20. The third place went to Rodolfo Juan with a record of 1: 54: 17.

In women, the winner was Aida Pérez from CA Baleària Diànium who entered the finish line with a time of 2: 28: 39. The second place went to Gemma Macia with a record of 2: 35: 52. The third was the Dianense, Elía Durá of the CA Baleària Diànium who made a mark of 2: 36: 55.

Veterans category, first place went Juanjo Angels team Segui Córrer Xeraco. The second place went to Javier Delgado of Esports Dianense Colau and the third was occupied by Iván Paya Tri-Esport of Ondara who was the first local classified but podiums veterans, not being cumulative trophies.
