Pavasal signs maintenance contract Dénia beaches

It was one of the most anticipated awards and it is now a reality. After signing the beach cleaning and maintenance contract, the company Pavasal Empresa Constructora SA becomes responsible for the state of the Dianense coast for the next ten years.

From now on, Pavasal will be in charge of cleaning the sand using a metal screen; mechanical harvesting of algae; cleaning of litter bins on the beaches; cleaning of access roads, storm drains and outlets; manual collection of waste and algae (on the rocky beaches of Les Rotes); loading and transportation of this waste to the landfill; placement removal and cleaning of wooden walkways; collection of dead and weakened animals; cleaning of the footbaths and leveling and conditioning of the sand.

In addition, the company is committed to improving its offer by increasing the number of drivers in high season, the creation of two environmental information points on the blue flag beaches (Bovetes and Marineta Casiana) and the provision of the necessary personnel to serve them, and the construction and operation of an algae treatment facility. Pavasal will also provide a motor grader with a driver to carry out sand leveling tasks and a telescopic handler for cleaning gravel beaches. Likewise, it includes carrying out educational and environmental campaigns aimed at schoolchildren, neighborhood associations and institutions and investment in research into innovative technologies for the use of algae.
