Step forward Dénia Swimming Club League Promises

The second day of the league promise alevín and youngest of swimming was played in the Alicante town of Torrevieja. The Dénia Swimming Club confirmed the good feelings prior to the test.

The competition was held in the spectacular Olympic pool city salt and tests performed in the youngest category were; 100 freestyle and juvenile category, the 200 100 back and breaststroke.

Dénia Swimming Club attended this event with eight swimmers; youngest category, Juan Andrés Gallego and Álex Stephan and juvenile category, Miguel Ordoñez, Benito Pastor, Iker Van Del Bosch, Luca di Triana ,, Andrea González and Lucía Kropf.

Among them he highlighted the great performance of Van Iker Del Bosch who made a mark 1: 40.99 100 in the breaststroke, was fourth overall. Álex Stephan and Juan Andrés Gallego held a mark 1: 36.09 1 and: 20.34 respectively being fifth overall in their categories both in free 100.

Benito Pastor in the back 200 3 made a mark: 08.16 that made him occupy the eighth place overall. Also keep in mind the times made by Miguel Ordoñez, Lucía Kropf, Luca di Triana and Andrea González.

Technical after races highlighted the down time by all swimmers and especially the technical improvement is observed daily in all of them.

The next event to keep continuing this improvement will be in San Vicent del Raspeig, on Saturday December 12.

Great start to the season in the regional league

Dénia Swimming Club has had a great start to the season in the regional league that began in Pego. There he traveled to 26 swimmers in categories ranging from prebenjamín to cadet.

The day was conducted in two parts, the smaller prebenjamines and benjamines swam crawl mode, backstroke, breaststroke and relays. Said Héctor Tamayo who won all the individual events in which he participated. Gonzalo Pastor was first crol and back and was second in breaststroke, while Pau Argudo was second in crol.

In the second part, it was the turn of the older ones who swam longer distances and to the previous modalities the butterfly and the styles were added. Mara Stoks and Adrián Monteagudo who were first and second in the mixed test with 30 and 33 seconds respectively.

In children, Miriam Ochoa won in breaststroke, crawl, back and in relays. Alba Corts won the 100 test in the front, back and relay styles of the mixed cadet category.

Maria More won in cadet test breaststroke and was second in crol trás Alba Corts. Joan Puigcever won all tests that disputed while Nacho Javi Calabuig and Cornejo were first and second in the styles of the cadet category.

The second day of the regional league will be next December 19 in the pool of Ondara.
