New dog park in La Pedrera

The Department of Parks and Gardens has created a canine park of 1.275 square meters in the area of ​​La Pedrera. The councilor responsible for the department, Juan Carlos Signes, stressed that this action responds to a demand from the neighborhood to end the problem of dog droppings that litter the vicinity and thus prevent dogs from entering the green zone and the playground nearby.

The plot is located at the end of the street Metge Manuel Vallalta, corner of Calle Cronos and in it, have enabled two zones, one for large dogs and other smaller for smaller dogs.

The adaptation works have included cleaning and beautifying the land, which is covered with gravel and sand albero; metal fencing plot and placement, by Brigade parks and gardens, a block wall around the perimeter.

In addition, the staff of Parks and Gardens has been responsible for placing two sanitary bins and two other conventional four granite benches and information panels as well as building a planter with shrubs and planting four hackberry (Lledoners) to decorate the area.
