Less than two weeks after the anniversary date of the appointment of Dénia as Creative City of Gastronomy of UENSCO has become the steering committee of the project, whose goal is to establish the Plan of Action Creative City and its strategic lines.

In the first meeting, held at the Dénia Town Hall, the activities carried out by the Innovation and Creativity Office in the development of the "Dénia&Maria Malta Tasting Life" Action Plan were reported. Among its tasks is advice, consultation and evaluation of the Creative City of Gastronomy project.

The mayor and councilor of tourism, Vicent Grimalt, has chaired the first meeting of the committee, which is composed of the president of the Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta (AEHTMA), Cristina Sellés; the president of the Cercle Empresarial de la Marina Alta (CEDMA), Sonja Dietz; the Councilors of Economic Services, Paco Roselló, International Relations, Óscar Mengual, and Environment, Josep Crespo; the councilor of GD-CU Pepa Font; the director of the Office of Innovation and Creativity, Floren Terrades; the director of the CdT of Dénia, Pepe Vidal; the head of the Mayor's Office, Juanmi Rafet; the head of the municipal department of Tourism, Pepa Cardona and Evarist Miralles, trainer of the CdT.
