Moors and Christians Dénia 2013: Disembark

The Moorish troops arrived in Dianenses this year aboard the mythical ship "Cervantes de Saavedra", better known as "Polar Star" thanks to the television series "El Barco". The captain, Rafa Cheli, led the delegation that was received in the port of Dénia by the Christian captain, José Vicente Ivars. After the welcome, Moors and Christians signed the truce in the Plaza del Consell.
