Miguel Ordóñez won the bronze in the 800 free meters of the 'Wiebaden Cup' in Frankfurt

Dianense swimmer Miguel Ordóñez took the podium on German soil, where he played the Wiebaden Cup in Frankfurt This young man, who studies at the IES No. 3 in Dénia and belongs to the Dénia-Acuatics-Les Marines Swimming Club, made history by getting the bronze medal in the 800 free meters, with a time of 9,42. In this brilliant way came his first metal internationally.

Already in the day of Saturday he played the 100 meters breaststroke, the 50 free meters and the 200 free meters, in just half an hour, remaining fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively. On Sunday, he swam the 100 free meters where he finished in fifth place.

His performance in German lands has been outstanding. It was his first international competition and although Miguel traveled with all the illusion of the world, it was all an unknown what could be found.

His experience as a young swimmer is more than positive and his progression is still very good so that surely new successes will arrive very soon.
