A month later, Dénia celebrated the blessing of animals in honor of Sant Antoni del Porquet

The weather conditions did not allow the blessing of the animals of Sant Antoni del Porquet to be celebrated on the scheduled day, Sunday January 22nd. It was finally this Sunday, February 19, when hundreds of people were able to come with their pets to this massive gathering that was held on Calle Marqués de Campo.

At the 11: 30 in the morning departed in retinue, from the parking Torrecremada, several horses accompanied by the music of the colla the Xareta. Together, they traveled the streets of Dénia until arriving, by the port, at Marqués de Campo. There were already many people who were waiting with their pets for the blessing, which was given by the Church of San Antonio.
