The next 24 of July at the 19: 30 will take place the presentation of the book Menjar bé to Marina Alta, at the Chamarel Hotel in Dénia. At the event, both the director and editor of this cooperative project, Alfred Martínez, as the chef Pep Romany and the enogastronomer Vicent Torres will be present.

The publication seeks to highlight the products and local producers, the native cuisine of the Marina, traditional and creative, and the restaurants that offer quality cuisine and value the products of proximity. In addition, according to the author, this axis goes in two directions, one aimed at the visitor or diner and another aimed at the inhabitants themselves to value more our things, whether products or traditional recipes, since, according to Martinez, "They have much more value than we give them".

The author emphasizes that it is a collaborative project: "It is something we do among all, producers and restaurants. It is an attitude that we all have in common to defend our own, our food and gastronomic heritage. Something that gives value to both producers and restaurateurs and is part of our culture".

The book offers a compendium of quality products made in the area, whether wines, beers, oils, cheeses, sobrasadas or sausages, as well as markets and stores where you can buy organic fruits and vegetables, artisanal bread and local wheat and rice. The marine.
