youth social mediators attended the 9º Addiction Prevention Course

Community Prevention Unit Addictive Behavior in the Social Welfare Department of the City of Dénia, with the collaboration of the AEPA Foundation, made this week 9º Training Course on Prevention of Addictions aimed at youth social mediators who work with young people.

In total, 17 participated in the NGO Red Cross, Salvation Army, Junior Groups, Marina Alta Solidaria Federation, Social Services - Home Help Service, Cam "Les Rotes", AMADEM and Condemned to the Curb.

During the eight hours of the course he gave the group of monitors and educators information and basic training on substance abuse by providing support tools for better control over the posibe consumption in youth and enhance their role as preventive social partners.

At the end of the day, participants completed a questionnaire to assess the experience very positively valued, both at training and personal levels.
