More than 100 people participated, last Saturday 14 of April, on the first critical walk Caminis, a festive and vindictive action that traveled the busiest streets for schoolchildren of the municipality every day to go to school.

Caminis It aims to create a network of school roads for Dénia, La Xara and Jesús Pobre that entail more security, more well-being and more autonomy for girls and boys. For this, in this first popular action participated the educational communities of the 10 public and private schools that attend primary school in the municipality plus the public district special education center Raquel Payá, Denibus, filming Ecomensajería, the Musical Artistic Association of Dénia, Classroom the Bike, the Grup Nodrissa, Condemned to the curb, the Natural Park of the Montgó, CEDMA, the Union Club Ciclista Montgó, and the Muixeranga of the Marina Alta.

The walk was organized by committees with specific tasks to be carried out through different urban micro-interventions. The commissions are designed to analyze, observe and experience the public space from different perspectives.

The objectives of the different commissions were:

- Make the project known to the neighbors of Dénia.
- Study the proportion of space for pedestrians and cars.
- Make visible the movements that urban design allows pedestrians and the obstacles they encounter in their routes.
- Reflect on the spaces or elements that allow the stay.
- Make the bicycle visible in public space.
- Identify the species of trees that accompany us and make their benefits visible.
- Just play, experience the free game again on the street.
- Identify the spaces, places or people that make the street feel safe.
