More than 5.300 students have participated in environmental education activities this course

They have better known the Greenway, cycling itineraries, have learned to separate waste and the importance of the dunes. A total of 5.351 students in kindergarten, primary, secondary and vocational training schools of Denia have participated in activities organized by the Department of Environment during this course.

The planned overall objectives have been the acquisition of concepts, values ​​and attitudes in order to interpret the environment where they live, knowing the problems and nearby environmental realities students and offer appropriate alternatives showing different situations or behaviors inadequate and its impact on the nature, as well as alternatives or best practices in their daily lives.

To carry out these activities, since the council has had the collaboration of different companies and entities such as Dénia Red Cross, URBASER, Texlimca, Department of Infrastructure, Planning and the Environment, Autonomous Organization of National Parks, Municipal Parks and gardens, FUNDEM, Friends of the Horse Protection Association (APAC) and the departments of Parks and gardens, Agriculture and Fisheries.
