More than 1000 runners gathered in Dénia for the Volta a Peu

More than 1000 people ran through the streets of the city of Dénia in their Volta a Peu, a race framed within the Circuit a Peu in the Marina Alta. A totally urban route that passed through the emblematic places of the city such as the port, the walls of the Castell and Marqués de Campo street, where the start and finish line was located.

A race with a lot of atmosphere where several Fallas districts encouraged the runners at different points of the 10 kilometers of the test.

Among the runners of the local Dénia Corre club, the third general position of Adrián Adri stands out. Also on the podium were Victor Manuel Fernández (Third Veteran D), Anna Berglind (Second Veteran B) and Inma Gil (Second Veteran F).

There was also a representation of the Dénia Corre en Orba within the Infernal Trail. In the 25-kilometer test, the club's runners were as follows: Ricard Perez (3:02:28), Marcos Romeu (3:09:25), Carla Carrió (3:50:41) and Ibon Artabe (4 :59:49). In the 12 kilometer race, Marcos Mut (0:56:15) (Second Absolute) and Marisa Marco (1:24;36) (Third Master) ran.

In Castelló, Miguel Donderis ran the Penyagolosa Trail test, completing the MIM distance of 60 kilometers with a time of 09:34:25.
