Last Friday the ordinary and extraordinary Assemblies called by Dénia Básquet Club were held in the assembly hall of La Marina de Dénia, in which all the points submitted for the estimation of the partners were approved.

The attendees approved both the financial statements presented by the board of directors corresponding to the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons and the sports management carried out in both courses. The estimated budgets for the current 2017-18 season were also approved.

Once the ordinary meeting was over, the second of those convened in this case was given an extraordinary character, originated by the resignation of the previous president of the entity.

The members of the board of directors asked for the confidence to stay ahead of the sport project during the remaining two years of the legislature and presented a reorganization of positions to manage the club that they submitted to the approval of the members.

Approved unanimously, the proposal presented Marisa Cervera Ivars was officially named the new President of Dénia Básquet Club, heading a meeting in which Manuel Viciano will be Vice President, Juan Ots will continue as Treasurer, Dolores Guzmán will be incorporated as Secretary and in which Mª José will continue as members Lozano, Andrés Ponce, Vicent Puigcerver and Guido Trapp.

Marisa will be the third woman to hold this position in the 1996-year history of the club after the passing of Pepa Font, who was its founder and held the Presidency for ten years divided into two stages (1998 to 2007 and 2015 to 2002) and Susana Gavilá (03-XNUMX).

He will be the eighth person to assume this responsibility in a list that Antonio Losada (1998-2000), Enrique Cuenca (2000-01), José Soldevila (2001-02), Pepe Martín Torres (2003 to 2007) and Paco Moreno (2015) complete. to 2017).
