Marina Health and Grup Nodrissa jointly promote the culture of breastfeeding

With the aim of promoting breastfeeding among mothers and raising awareness in society of the importance of this moment for newborns, Hospital Marina Salud and Grup Nodrissa have signed a collaboration agreement through which they will promote this culture of family health .

As part of this agreement, at an early stage Grup Nodrissa his workshop taught nursing in Denia II Integrated Health Center in the C / Joan Fuster.

This collaboration is complemented by the sponsorship that Dénia Hospital carries out in one of the prizes of the Photographic Contest of Breastfeeding that annually organizes the Grup Nodrissa, as well as the exhibition in its facilities of the photographs.

In promoting the culture of breastfeeding involved a large group of professionals throughout the Department of Health, from midwives or nurses pediatricians to plant Pediatrics and Maternity. Not in vain Dénia Marina Health Hospital has passed the first phase for accreditation as BFHI center, Hospital Friends of Children. It is a UNICEF initiative that assesses and certifies the good practices carried out by the health centers in promoting breastfeeding.

At the signing of the agreement were present the Manager of Marina Salud, Dr. Ángel Giménez; the Director of the Care Network, Dr. Patricia Marzal and the President of the Nodrissa Group, Laura Pacheco.
