Marina de Dénia wants to increase nautical tourism between Denia and Baleares

January 27 from 2013 - 00: 00

Marina de Dénia has set a goal for this 2013: to facilitate the maritime transit of nautical tourists between the peninsula and the Balearic Islands. To this end, it has initiated a series of contacts with the sectors involved.

A few days ago the director Marina de Denia, Gabriel Martínez, met with the CEO of the Marina Mercante, Rafael Rodriguez, who proposed the possibility that the skippers can adapt the title in order to handle boats list 6ª, ie sports or recreational vessels operated for profit.

Rodriguez informed that the possibility is being studied that the PER (Skipper of Recreation Boat) can make the leap to the islands from certain positions on the peninsular coast. For Gabriel Martínez the meeting was «altamente positiva ya que el director general es una persona vinculada al sector de la náutica de recreo y conocedor de todos los problemas que dificultan el pleno desarrollo del sector».
