Dénia Garbi veterans team sponsor luggage

Nostalgia took over the municipal hall of Denia in a simple but moving ceremony was held last Friday. After the training session took place the delivery of new equipment to senior and youth teams. Some luggage that have been sponsored by players who have worn the shirt of the club Dianense along its 40 years of history.

Garbi Dénia was born in 1976 and a large number of players have passed through its ranks, mostly homegrown players and some others who came from towns in the region or from neighboring regions.

Some of these veteran players have made it possible for representative teams of the club, shirt and pants premiere. They themselves have contributed the money to buy themselves. Each of the veterans have sponsored the numbers that they carried in their time of active players of the entity.

Illustrious names of Dianense handball were present at the event, Pep Marí, Ramón Aguado, Vicent Femenía, El Negre, Celso, Jaime Torres, Julio, Moís Alcaide, Jaume Ivars, Pedro Mezquida, Raúl Fluxá, Borja Alemany, Joan Salort.

In the pants worn by the players in the squad each name is read as the dorsal. This is an initiative to pay tribute to those players who have written the history of one of the oldest clubs in the province of Alicante

One by one they were godparents who placed the shirt players. Holstered veterans who have worn T in past seasons and formed together the great family photograph. Subsequently they enjoyed young and old anecdotes in past seasons. The most valued by all is the fact that during the coming seasons veteran players will be playing in the field as they did years ago.
