The trophies of the 'Volta a Peu a Dénia' have been made by the Aprosdeco association

The Aprosdeco association received a few months ago the commission to make the trophies that will be delivered in the next "Volta a Peu a Dénia", which will take place next Saturday 28 in April. A special commission and that filled with joy all the members of this association that for some editions is responsible for making some very special trophies. This athletic test is framed in the "XXII Circuit to Peu Marina Alta".

The organization of this test is in charge of the Baleària Diànium Athletics Club, in collaboration with the Dénia City Council, it is expected the participation of about 1.300 athletes.

As in previous races of this Circuit, the first protagonists will be boys and girls, since the tests for the lower categories, ranging from barrufets, Pre-youngest, youngest, fry, children and cadets, will begin at 16 pm. The tour will be on Calle Marqués de Campo, where each category has a different length race.

The exit to the queen test will be at the 18: 30 hours for the categories ranging from juvenile to Veterans F. The length of the track is 10 kilometers, on a short circuit of 3,600 meters that will give a round and a second round of 6,400 meters.

One of the novelties presented by this edition of the "Volta a Peu", is the modification of the layout with respect to the one made in the previous edition. The Moll de la Pansa replacing the Marina de Dénia Sports and Tourist Port.

All participants will be given a commemorative T-shirt and will also be offered a cloakroom and showers service. The latter installed in the Marist school.

The Councilor for Sports, Vicent Crespo, has met with Jordi Jorro, president of the club and with some of the event's collaborators, such as Ricard Pérez, manager of the Baleària Foundation, Antonio Sentí, first vice-president of the Fundación Esportiva Dénia and Antonio Fernández, manager of Fontanería Fernández Luna, to announce the details of the event.

The mayor highlighted the organizing work of the Baleària Diànium Athletics Club and all the collaborators and commented that, “they make a great effort to make possible, one more year, a successful party of popular athletics that makes the region through sports and brings together runners from all the Marina Alta".
