The triathletes of the Dénia Triatló Club participated in the 'Crossing the Green Mile' in Benissa

A triathletes representing eight belonging to the Club Dénia Triatló were participating in the "V Swimming across The Green Mile"Held in Benissa. A test was scoring for the IV Circuit d'Aigües Obertes of the Marina Alta 2016.

In this sporting event 180 swimmers who took part enjoyed a sea to swim presented an excellent appearance. The first to take out were boys and three minutes later were the girls who began the test.

The only one of the boys representative of the Dianense club to cross the finish line was Ramón Grimalt, who stopped the clock in 19: 58. This swimmer was fifth in the 30 Master category. The second to reach the finish line was Elisa García, with a 24 brand: 27, being fourth in the 40 Master category. Ana Gomis, came very close to her partner with a time of 24: 32 and was fifth in the 30 Master classification.

Went a little further back, Alejandra Brea, who set a time of 26: 16 which ranked eleventh in Master 40. Sandra Rey, finished the test with a mark of 26: 49 being 14ª in Master 40. Mª Isabel Vicente, ranked 15 40 Master put on after making a record of 26: 57.

To highlight the great role played by the two debutantes, Ornella Bombaert, with a time of 27: 56 was seventh in Senior and Marta Carrió, who was eighth Senior with a mark of 31: 23.

In men's overall winner was José Luis Larrosa, with a mark of 17: 04, followed by César Hernández, with a record of 18: 02. The podium was completed by Manuel Farrona, who finished the test at 18: 11.

In women's overall winner was Sandra Ortolá, with a time of 19: 52. The second classified was Sara Molina, with a mark of 19: 53 and the third was classified Cristina Gallach, who made a record of 23: 03.

The next test of the circuit will take place on July 24 in the municipality of Els Poblets.
