Socialists defend the institution of the EATIM against the new local law

The Xara was the example that the Socialists of Marina Alta placed to talk about the entities that are to be removed with the approval of the new law for rationalization and sustainability of the local administration.

In an informative meeting held at the Xara Social Center, the spokesman for the Socialists in Dénia, Vicent Grimalt; the member of the provincial executive, Juanvi Fornés; the deputy Herick Campos and the councilor in Dénia Cristina Morera explained to the many attendees the most important repercussions of this reform.

According Fornes, reform means "relocate and move away from their recipients, neighbors, the powers of the municipalities" and he stressed that "the services that pass to the Provincial Council can be privatized with the consequent increase of rates and prices that the citizens will pay".

This reform would affect 23 small towns in the region.
