During the day yesterday vaccinations began among the staff of La Pedrera de Dénia hospital workers. However, this time it was not about the doses of Pfizer, which has been administered so far throughout Spain, but it is about the Modern vaccine that has recently been approved.

One of the first shipments of this vaccine in the Valencian Community has been made to this center, being one of the first to inject it nationwide.

According to the hospital, the vaccine was received last Wednesday, reaching 400 doses, and it began early yesterday to be administered to the staff of Hacle La Pedrera. They hope that during the day today, Friday, they have already vaccinated the entire staff.

"A success in the number of vaccinations thanks to the effort and coordination of the nursing staff, the management and prevention service of the Hospital, which has acted as quickly as possible following the guidelines of the Ministry of Health", has published the center on its social networks.

Moderna's vaccine is double-dose, just like Pfizer's. This means that for a complete immunization of the patient, two doses are required, the second 28 days after the first injection.
