Budgets allow 2017 2,5 million Dénia allocate investments
Five months after the start of the year, the City of Denia and has clear municipal budgets. A delay justified by the millionaire sentence was known in December last year, which has pbligado to adjust numbers to approve the accounts.
Councilors Rafa Carrió and Paco Roselló have presented the document that will be taken to full extraordinary next Wednesday, May 17, which amounts to 51.905.695,01 euros. They define them as budgets "Realistic both with the economic situation that the City Council is going through and along the lines of the policies that are being carried out during this term".
2017 municipal budgets include, among other innovations, a game of 190.000 euros to be allocated to the Office of Innovation and Creativity project Creative City of Gastronomy, a reflection, according to Roselló, "of the commitment of the government team with this project".
It also highlights accounts 2017 the chapter on investment, amounting to more than 2,5 million euros. According Rafa Carrió, they have not been included all you would have liked, but it has tried to meet the demands of citizenship. These investments highlight the suitability of municipal facilities and improving heritage sites.
In this sense, Rafa Carrió has explained that items are planned to improve access to the Cova de l'Aigua, in Montgó; 20.000 euros for the demolition of the Ramis-Gualde ship, on La Vía street; pluvial improvements of the San Andres Group, with a budget of 30.000 euros; the purchase of a coffin in the cemetery; or the installation of an elevator in the Museu Del Joguet. Other investments will focus on improvements in the Groups of Sailors, the signage of El Fortí, the change of seats of the amphitheater of the Social Center or the improvement of the facilities of the auditorium of the Llebeig school.
Increase the collection of IBI
Another important new budgets to be approved next week is to increase revenue through Property Tax (IBI), which has grown 970.000 euros. This is because, as explained by the council of finance, new and winding high above amounts. Specifically, the new high 640.000 allowed to enter euros and previous settlements, 269.000 euros.
Altogether, in direct taxes, the City will enter 2017 26.816.302,77 euros total, while indirect taxes will enter 605.000 euros.
On the revenue side include the 105.000 euros rather than enter the municipal coffers for state taxes. According to Rossello, this is a "reflection that in Dénia, unlike what happens in other cities, the population figures have not decreased, but remain".
