Popular Denia denounce the further delays in the works of the College of La Xara

January 13 from 2016 - 16: 40

The Popular Party of Dénia begins the new year with force and complaints. In this case, referring to the works of the highly anticipated La Xara school. The party's spokesperson on educational issues, Pepa Sivera, has denounced that last Monday, January 11, the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante published a deadline for submitting offers for the contracting of the Works Project Drafting Service and Facilities in the center.

Sivera explains that the same contract tender was published last November 27 2015 of giving within eight calendar days for submission of tenders. In this new announcement, the BOP states that "As the Technical Prescription Document is found to be incomplete, a new period of 8 calendar days is granted". Given this statement, the former councilor of education last term asked if nobody realized that there was a lack of documentation to present.

Popular regret that this involves «un nuevo retraso de las obras del colegio de La Xara, más aún cuando todo se dejó preparado por el anterior gobierno de Ana Kringe ya que solo se estaba a expensas de la publicación en el BOP para licitar las obras».

Faced with these accusations, the mayor of La Xara, the socialist Maite Pérez Conejero, has called a press conference on Thursday morning to explain what happened.
