The Compromís heavyweights landed in Dénia to warm the campaign to the general and regional
The Compromís staff chose Dénia for its central campaign event in the Marina Alta. The auditorium of the Llebeig school was the stage in which hundreds of supporters, mayors, councilors and mayors of the party gathered to warm up engines for the General and Autonomous campaigns that start this Friday.
Rafa Carrió, candidate for mayor of Dénia, acted as master of ceremonies of an act in which the candidates for Alicante took the floor to Les Corts and to the Congress, Aitana Mas and Ignasi Candela; the number 1 of the list to the Congress, Joan Baldoví; and the candidate for the presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana, Monica Oltra.
All the candidates agreed that Compromís is "the guarantee of change that started at 2015" in the Valencian Community, and the importance of having representation in the Congress of Deputies. In this sense, both Candela and Baldoví insisted that "For the first time, Valencians can be decisive for the future government". Of course, Baldoví made it clear that they will not support any government that does not take Valencian claims into account. The 1 number of Valencian congressmen gave voice to María José García and Josep Nadal, members of the candidacies for Congress and Les Corts, for Alicante.
The act ended with the candidate for the presidency of the Generalitat, Monica Oltra, who regretted that some candidates at national and regional level are "banalizing politics" With his speeches. Oltra did a review, in a humorous way, for the latest statements collected from the candidates of the PP or Citizens.
Reception of the Platform for Public Health
Upon their arrival at the school, the representatives of Compromís were received by the members of the Platform for the Public Health of the Marina Alta, who claimed to Oltra the real reversal of the Dénia health department. The vice president spoke with them, and expressed the intention of Compromís to reverse the department, while acknowledging that the talks with the company are not being fruitful.
