The dianenses children offer a warm welcome to Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar

Melchior, Gaspar and Baltasar could not believe the welcome that the Dianenses children offered after their long journey. The three wise men arrived in Dénia on horseback to tour the center of the city on top of their floats.

After 17:30 p.m., Their Majesties arrived at the port, where their royal retinues were waiting for them ready to begin the parade. After riding in the floats, around 18:XNUMX p.m., the parade began on Calle Marqués de Campo.

At that time thousands of people were already waiting to Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar who shouted so loudly to kings and their pages launch them candy.

The parade began with a ballet of Bollywood formed by a dozen dancers who gave way to the favorite characters of children. There were Pocoyó, Woody, Toy Story, Mickey and Minnie, SpongeBob and Patrick or Shreck.

Half a dozen horses preceded the arrival of the Royal Page, and after him at last their Majesties from the East began to parade. Melchor was the first, accompanied by Patricia's ballet Sentí and several dozen pages. Gaspar and his pages were accompanied by the ballet of Cuqui Ivars, while Baltasar accompanied him MªÁngeles ballet Signes.

Once they reached the Plaza del Consell, the Magi left their carriages to walk to the town hall, where worship the baby Jesus performed in the living Bethlehem and greeted the authorities were waiting for them there.

Already from the top of the town hall, and after the words of the mayor, Melchor took the floor to address on behalf of his colleagues to the thousands of children who gathered in the square to welcome them. Melchior thanked the Dianenses girls for the warm reception they received and asked them to be good and fulfill their tasks this year.

Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar had a busy night giving gifts throughout the city. This morning visited the hospital patients and residents of Denia Santa Lucia.
