The largest will have a new library in the center of Barrio Sertorio

As of February 7, older members of the Retiree Home or the Classrooms of Experience will have one more place to go to enjoy reading. The Department of the Major, directed by Isabel Gallego, has encouraged the creation of a new library in the Centro de Barrio Sertorio that has been possible thanks to the collaboration of numerous people and entities.

Daniel del Valle, Luisa Iglesias and Elisa Benítez, members of the Experience Classrooms, have been in charge of cataloging, organizing, planning and ordering hundreds of books from donations. The Rotary Club Dénia has donated the shelves and furniture and the Spanish Association against Cancer, the plates that decorate the room.

Isabel Gallego pointed out that this library was born with the intention that the elderly have a place to go to consult and talk about a book, exchange literary opinions or advise on what kind of reading can best suit their interests.
