The middle managers of the Dénia Hospital are trained in new management technologies

The Department of Health of Dénia has developed an online collaborative learning project to train its professionals in technological and management skills.

GESTICAP, which is what the project is called -Management, ICT, Primary Care- is a pilot program composed of a training calendar throughout the year 2019 and supplemented by an online collaborative environment platform. It is aimed at the middle managers of Primary Care of the Dénia Department of Health.

The training activities are scheduled on a biweekly or monthly basis and address issues related to communication technologies, health management, interpersonal skills or team management.

In the calendar of face-to-face training sessions, which have been programmed for 2019, the expert in Health Management, Jordi Varela, has already participated. This week Pau Matalap, a reference on Twitter and author of the blog, has done it Technological Nursing.

The platform used is the open source of Google, Google Classroom, which has been parameterized to create the collaborative environment among professionals. In it you can, from opening virtual classrooms, to upload content, expose practical cases or link complementary resources such as videos, clinical directories or links of interest, all this, under the same theme of the programmed training. The only requirement to access the platform is to have a free gmail account.

According to the Head of Training, Enrique España, «el objetivo que se persigue con GESTICAP es empoderar y aumentar el liderazgo de los mandos intermedios de Atención Primaria, a través de la formación en gestión y tecnologías de la información; y así también dar un paso más en la transformación digital de la Organización».
