The bodies of local and national police held the Guardian Angels with the delivery of distinctions

With a day late, the bodies of local police and National Dénia held on Monday October 3 the Guardian Angels, patrons of the police, with the traditional delivery of awards to law enforcement merit.

After the traditional Mass, which was held in the church of Our Lady of the Assumption, the appointment was moved to the plenary hall of the City of Dénia, in an act chaired by the Mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, the councilor for Public Safety, Javier Scotto, the chief inspector, head of the Dénia National Police station, Antonio Cabeza, and the chief local police chief of Dénia, José Martínez Espasa.

Antonio Cabeza took the floor to take stock of the work done in the last year by its agents, calling the exercise of "normalcy, with acceptable crime rates". Precisely Head was recognized twice. First he received the Police Merit Cross with white badge, a badge was also handed over to the national police José Angel Freijoo Ferreiro.

Head received the medal of the local police, who imposed the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, "for the service provided to the public in matters of security, facilitating and promoting coordination between the body of the Local Police and the National Police, which has been done efficiently and effectively, achieving with its work a marked improvement in security and essential for the quality of life of the citizens of Dénia ". A distinction that was adopted unanimously at the plenary of the Corporation last September 29.

Local police also Dénia Roberto Santos Salazar distinguished by the arrest of a criminal wanted by Interpol; Lorente Salvador Llopis, to reduce and stop a citizen who originated an altercation in a bank in the city; and David Gil Domenech, for his role in the rescue of a sailboat sailing adrift.

Amores agents Luis García, Juan Andrés Lorente Salvador Llopis Guillem and received an award for his ten years of service, while Josep Garcia i Fornes was recognized for fifteen years of work in the body. Finally, symbolic posthumously, the Medal 25 years of service to the deceased official Agud Manuel Llopis, whose distinction picked up his son Roberto Agud surrendered.

Together, the bodies of local and national police recognized the work of the delegation of Dénia of the Provincial Association of Lawyers of Alicante, which has been collected by the delegate, María Esperanza Tur.
