Repeating the initiative last year, which proved to be a hit shops in the city center, the Department of Trade of the City of Denia has scheduled a new open night where shops stay open until midnight and offer discounts and freebies to their customers.

The appointment will be tonight in the downtown area of ​​the city, from Calle Loreto to the end of Marqués de Campo, and until now there are more than 70 shops attached to the initiative.

The councilor for trade, Vicente Chelet, explained that the objective of this activity is to boost the city and publicize the local trade to visitors and tourists, since it has been shown according to a study that if there is some activity around the shops, the people make more purchases. Tonight is expected to generate traffic and increase sales of the premises.

The evening will begin at 19 hours with a mini disco for the little ones in the Plaza del Consell, 20 hours and begin to walk the streets once Batukada accompanied by dancers and jugglers who handed out balloons to children, while two photocalls will be installed along the route. In addition shops free tastings prepared products, gifts and even events like a book signing.

Last year, also the 2 of August, the first Open Night of the shops of Dénia had the final participation of near 80 establishments.
