The day arrived: the XI Boat Show of Dénia starts in Marina de Dénia
With ten editions behind him, the Dénia Boat Show has already confirmed itself as one of the great nautical events on a national level. Today has started the eleventh edition of this important fair in the Marina Deportivo de Dénia, which until next Tuesday, 1 in May, offers a wide program of activities for all audiences and welcomes more than 70 companies of the sector in the 13.000 square meters of exhibition.
The Mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, was present at the inauguration; the director of the room, Gabriel Martínez; the General of the Command of General Operations (MOE), Demetrio Muñoz; the delegate in the Valencian Community of the Royal Assembly of Captains of the Yacht, José Luis Aliaga; the chief inspector of the Local Police of Dénia, José Martínez Espasa; the president of CEDMA, Sonja Dietz; Several councilors of the City Council and numerous people linked to the nautical world in Dénia.
The director of the Boat Show, Gabriel Martínez, says that "Our hall is an event with a very important commercial part and we are going to focus a lot on this, since it is of vital importance for the use of our area. The Marina Alta attracts a high level of tourism throughout the year and we must take care to all the companies that are dedicated to the nautical so that they continue investing ".
Access to the Dénia Boat Show is completely free, as well as the activities that will be developed. The schedule of the fair is, uninterrupted, from 10 to 20 hours. From Saturday 27 to Tuesday 1 in May, there will be catamaran trips to the Cabo de San Antonio Marine Reserve, to the 10, 11: 30 and 13 hours. Tickets for the departure of the catamaran will be distributed at the same time of departure, in order of arrival to the queue that will be formed for access to it. The maximum capacity will be 100 people per exit. This year, the show has put at the service of all its visitors the tourist train, which will have three stops in Dénia.
Every day, from 10 to 14 and from 16 to 20 hours, there will be children's workshops and remote-controlled boats for children. Also every day, from 10 to 14 and from 16 to 19 hours, you can perform baptisms of Paddle Surf, Hawaiian Canoes, Sup and Big Sup. And, from 10 to 20 hours, you can visit the Maritime Rescue boat.
El Saturday, April 28, to the 10: 30 hours, the oceanic sailor Alex Pella, will offer a talk about his latest record in the Tea Route. And, at the 11: 30 hours, the Ministry of the Environment and those responsible for the Marine Reserve, will release a turtle. He Sunday April 29, from 12 to 13 hours, there will be a tasting of Mahou Beers, offered by the restaurant La Vaca de Baco and the 12: 30 hours, a Flyboard exhibition by Maremoto. At the 13 hours, the traditional pet fashion parade of Mascotetes will take place. He July 30, at the 12 hours, a demonstration will be offered Sup Aireal and Fly Yoga, by Tessa Smith, of the Marina Nautical Activities Center of Dénia.
