Les Rotes are reinforced to prevent future DANAs
During these weeks, work has been resumed on different beaches in Dénia to recondition the coast after the flaws caused by Gloria, the devastating DANA that devastated the Dianense coast.
In this sense, in Les Rotes, the mobilization of a high tonnage machine that operates in the protected area is striking. It works on creating a natural barrier with the same stones that the storm moved along that coast, also reinforcing the wall of the promenade.
Despite the fact that at first the works with heavy machinery in the place are very limited (the posidonia is collected at these points by hand to avoid damage), the councilor of Beaches, Pepe Doménech, has assured this media that the security measures to guarantee that this area of so much natural wealth is not damaged. According to this report, two biologists have supervised the work to prevent it from affecting the environment.
After completing operations in Les Rotes and Marineta, work will begin in the most affected areas of Les Deveses, which they hope to be able to condition soon, although they are not optimistic that it will be before the start of the surveillance campaign on June 20.
