Leclercq SUP Team bring a gold and a bronze from Burriana
On Sunday the II Race of the Mediterranean Circuit of SUP Race was held in Burriana, a regatta with more than 10 kilometers of travel, wind, waves and porting of the boards along the beach.
Emilio Irigoyen, a Dianense rider based in Marina de Dénia, managed to take the top of the box in the Elite Master category, and eighth in the Elite general, after completing the 11 kilometers in 01:24:19. He tells us that he is very satisfied with the result and that he has had a very good feeling in a “Funny race, with many variables and conditions similar to those of Dénia”.
Andy Burrows, rider of the regional team, won the bronze in the Kahuna category after rowing for 11 kilometers at a time of 01:33:05
For his part, junior rider Pablo Gateau Peris concluded this demanding race in a fought sixth place in the Sub 16 category, 5 kilometers in 00:40:34.
