The athlete Laurence Rastell, belonging to the Baleària Diànium Athletics Club, has finished the Spanish Cup of Vertical Kilometer in second place in the Veterans B category.
Last Sunday, the fourth round of the Spanish Vertical Kilometer Cup, organized by the Spanish Federation of Mountain and Climbing Sports, took place in the municipality of Canfranc.
It was a very demanding test, but upon reaching the finish the spectacular views made every meter worth it. A route of 3.800 meters up the Porté, 2.440 meters above sea level. It has an accumulated positive slope of 1.110 meters, with an average slope of 29%, reaching points where it reaches 45%. The Baleària athlete finished the test occupying third place in her category, Veteran B, with a time of 1: 17.43.
This was the last test of the Spanish Cup since it began in May, in the town of Arredondo (Cantabria), in June in Roquetes (Tarragona), in July in Sierra Nevada (Granada), a total sum in the four tests conducted by Laurence Rastell gives him the second place in the classification of the Veterana B category.
