The Veterans of the CR Marina de Dénia revalidated the title of Champions of Spain of Llaüt

The Dianense rowing is in luck after the achievement of the title of champions of Spain achieved by the Veteran Training Club Rem Marina Dénia. The hard-working sportsmen fulfilled perfectly with the role of favorites and revalidated the title obtained in the last edition.

In the waters of Benidorm, the XV Championship of Spain of Banco Fijo del Mediterraneo-Llaüt took place. A competition that included the organization of the Benidorm Yacht Club.

In the Veterans final, the fastest team to complete the course was the Club Rem Marina de Dénia with a time of 3: 16.57. The crew that was proclaimed champion of Spain is made up of M.ª José Santana, Rosana Escolano, M.ª Teresa Lloret, Lidia D Ambrosio, Pilar Sánchez, Rosa Pérez, Gloria Pascual and Rosa Ana Lloret, acting as helmsman Covadonga Menendez.

The second place was for the yacht Club Alutico Altea, with a brand 3: 18.01 and the third place was for the formation of Real Club Nautico Gandía with a record of 3: 18.75.

In the Men Veterans category, the surprise jumped as the team of the Club Rem Marina Dénia, team that was the clear dominator of the Suma League, did not qualify for the final. In the semifinals, going out on 4 street did not go well and they were out of the final. They had to play the final B where they finished second, being sixth in the final classification.

With this national appointment put an end to a great season for the rowing of the Marina Alta region, to get on the podium both in the competition of the Suma League and in these national championships.
