The fifths of the pandemic will not be part of the Fifths of the next Fiestas
The Department of Festivities has convened an informative meeting to all the young people of Dénia born in 2004 who make up the quintà of 2022. The meeting will be on Saturday, December 4, at 11 am, in the House of Culture.
Regarding the boys and girls born in 2002 and 2003, who have not been able to live their year as fifths and fifths because of the pandemic, Councilor Óscar Mengual has stressed that, during the Fiesta Mayor of 2022, “we are going to do some kind of of tribute, expressly dedicating a day for all of them and that they can have their big day ”.
Mengual explained that it is "organizationally unfeasible" that all the young people of the three vintages can participate as fifths and fifths in the activities planned for next year, since we are talking about more than 1.200 people.
For this reason, it has been decided that the fifths and fifths of 2022 will be the young people who turn 18 that year and that the groups of 2002 and 2003 also have a place in the programming with that festive day of which details will be given later.
