The beaches will arrive for Easter without a lavapiés

The City of Dénia has been very optimistic about the goal of reconditioning the beaches for the next Easter season. In the absence of two months, they are in a state that is more than worrying, the vast majority unrecognizable after the passage of the temporary Gloria.

However, Councilor Pepe Doménech has assured that by this season the beaches would be operational again and showing a state very similar to the summer if the required works are fulfilled.

Of course, it assumes that the lavapies will not reach that date. Doménech has announced that 80% of the pipes require a replacement due to the passage of Gloria, which also has shattered 40 foot washers.

In order to solve it as soon as possible, the City Council has sent a report to the Valencian Tourism Agency for its relocation and replacement, if necessary, as well as the gateways.

The mayor, Vicent Grimalt, has stressed that the installation of the lavapiés in certain areas should be reconsidered and a relocation to less suffered sites in each storm.
