Redevelopment works Magallanes Street will begin in October

The section of Magallanes street that runs between Diana and Carlos streets Sentí, and that coincides with the Mercat Municipal building, will be the next step included in the Technical Plan of the Municipal Market. The project, budgeted at 197.000 euros, will be subsidized 70% (114.000 euros) by the Department of Commerce.

The start of the works will be at the beginning of October and they have been processed as a matter of urgency, since they must be finalized before November's 30. The sidewalks will be widened in 2 meters, the accesses will be improved, tree shafts will be installed to place trees and a green parking area will be installed for the residents of the area.

Councilman Hacienda, Vicente Chelet, has called for patience and cooperation with neighbors in the area for the promptness of the works, which will lengthen 2 months. In addition the possibility of moving to Calle La Mar the fruit and vegetable market held every Friday studies.
