November 25 from 2022 - 14: 16

Several hundred students from different educational centers in Dénia have gathered in the Plaza de la Constitució to show their rejection of gender violence against women in each of its forms. They have done it on the occasion of 25N, Day against sexist violence, during the City Council act in which the youngest of the city have been, on this occasion, the protagonists.

As the Councilor for Equality, Javier Scotto, has pointed out, the 25N campaign in Dénia this year has wanted to focus on men so that they assume their responsibility. But in the act the protagonists have been the children and adolescents who have gathered in front of the town hall to participate, showing Scotto satisfied to share the square and the act with them.

Speech by Javier Scotto

"You are a fundamental part of ending violence," said the councilor, assuming that there is a large amount of very subtle violence that goes unnoticed in schools and is at risk of normalizing. "Girls have to be free and equal with boys."
