Heavy rain knocks down one of the attractions of the fair installed in the port of Dénia

The intense wind and heavy rain of Wednesday night in Dénia caused several incidents in different parts of the city. The most striking was the fall of the attraction Circus, the fair installed in the port. It happened around the 23: 30 hours when it was closed to the public due to the weather, and luckily there was no need to mourn injured.

As for public infrastructure, during the night the public lighting on the Les Marines road broke down. In addition, the wind tore a lifeguard hut off the beach at Riu Cervol Street, two branches fell off trees on the old Ondara road and Río San Miguel Street; two (2) vehicles suffered damage due to the rain on Rap and Molinell streets) and two notices of raised manhole covers were registered.

Finally, Civil Protection proceeded to the closing of the Livestock Road Gandia road crossing with Rio Alberca.
