Dénia failures and paid tribute to Carla Candela in his farewell as Falleras Seniors

The failures of Dénia closed a cycle with the farewell, last Friday night, of the major falleras of the 2014 / 2015 exercise, Carla Petrie and Candela Pastor.

The event, presented by Esther Femenía, was especially emotional as it also involved the farewell of the president of the Fallera Local Board, Jaume Bertomeu, to make way for the mandate of José Antonio Monsonís. Bertomeu opened the ceremony with a word of thanks to the people who have been with him during all this time, from the components of his team to the major falleras of Dénia.

The outgoing president in his speech wished good luck to José Antonio Monsonís in his future as president, and called on the flaws that render all necessary assistance in the work now begins to play.

Then he received, one by one, the components of the courts of honor over the falleras Dénia, they were honored with a video summary of a year of experiences together.

Carla Petrie and Candela Pastor also had a video that summarized the places where they have been representing Dénia throughout the year and in the local activities in which they have participated. They, the protagonists of the night, took the stage accompanied by the mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, who gave them affectionate words of farewell.

The farewell ceremony of the major fallas of Denia included, as it has been customary for some years, the homage to the fallero artists who this year have won the first prizes of the failures of Denia. Of the four invited artists only Enric Ginestar came to pick up his recognition as winner of the first prize of the first section with the Port Rotes fault. The rest were collected by representatives of the fault.

Carla, meanwhile, listened attentively and excited the words of his mother and sister, Amparo Amparo Fernandez and Petrie, remembering the stories that have lived together during this intense exercise.

Jaume Bertomeu retook the floor to address the major falleras, who thanked his poise and behavior that have had representatives of Dénia faller in the last year.

Candela, meanwhile, was grateful to her court and for all people who have been with her this year, especially his brother Manuel.

To finish the event spoke Carla, very excited listed people with whom you have shared this year's reign and welcomed the cooperation and support of all of them.

Carla and Candela are already part of the history of failures of Denia, and next Tuesday we will know who the elected and take over as Falleras Over Denia.
