The latest update that has come to light this Friday is a spark of hope to settle the terrible episode that this third wave of the coronavirus has caused in the region. However, despite the decline in infections, the death toll in the Marina Alta remains sadly high.
They have already warned from the Ministry, the infections would decrease but the deceased with coronavirus did not, and that is how it is happening around us. In just one week 12 residents of the region have lost their lives as a result of the pandemic that is being experienced. A pandemic that affects the pocket, yes, but above all it kills.
