The cadets Dénia Básquet achieve the sixth place overall in the Valencian Community

Last Saturday afternoon the Dénia Básquet female cadet team closed its participation in the highest category of women's basketball with a good victory in Alicante, beating San Blas Montemar by 33 to 39. With this brilliant triumph they end a season of great sports growth under the command of Ferrán García.

The girls of this team have competed very well throughout the season, first assuring their passage to the autonomic phase of the eight best teams in the community and then competing for all matches to the best of their ability. The lack of greater height in the equipment has conditioned the not being able to aspire to higher levels. The sixth place and especially the good sensations offered on the track have been valued very positively from the club itself.

Except for the first three classified, the powerful Valencia BC, Pickent Claret "A" and BF San Blas Alicante "A" has competed from power to power with the other teams. The club has congratulated this group of girls that next season will be released in the junior category.

The team has been formed by the following players; Andrea Ponce, Arantxa Dominguez, Ariana Gavilá, Astrid Henrich, Lluna Pérez, María Bisquert, Marina Martínez, Marta Moll, Noelia Giner, Sheila Palomares, Sofia Salazar, Teresa Jardon and Marina Brotons, who have had Ferrán García as coach.
