The Classrooms of the Third Age say goodbye to the course with the traditional festival of exhibition of works

14 July 2021 - 09: 47

Today Wednesday, July 14, the Dénia Senior Classrooms close the 2020 course until 2021, a very different course that suffered the forced suspension of classes during the months of increased incidence of the pandemic. Even so, the students wanted, as usual, to celebrate a good farewell with a sample of what they have learned this year.

The End-of-Course Festival 2020-2021, developed at the Social Center in two parts, in mid-June and early July, on the 5th, featured an exhibition of Tai-chi, the projection of videos prepared by the workshops boxes, Informática, Vidriería y Habilidades Creativas; la representación de la obra «Xafarderas», a cargo del alumnado de Teatro; la actuación de los alumnos del taller de Baile y un recital de poesía.

On the Facebook page of the Classrooms for the Third Age (@ Aulas3Edad) photographs and videos of the festival and a summary of the work of the workshops throughout the course have been published.

Enrollment for the 2021-2022 academic year

The Classrooms for the Third Age have also made public the program of workshops for the next academic year, with the activities already consolidated and with offer, as usual, for Dénia (Centro de Barrio del Oeste, Centro Social and Torrecremada), the Xara and Jesus Pobre.

The enrollment period will open on September 1, at the Mayor's Office (96 642 61 65), from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m.
