The Xarxa de Dones Marina Alta claim a state pact in acts of Women's Day

"Against les violències masclistes, pacte d'estat ja!" will be the motto that Xarxa de Dones of the Marina Alta will take part in the commemorative events of International Women's Day. This year, both the demonstration-concentration and the local dinner and awards ceremony will be held on Friday 4 in March.

A las 19:30 hours A demonstration will start in the Glorieta de Dénia that will travel along Marqués de Campo street with the music of the colla the Xareta. At the end of the tour, in front of the Red Cross, a manifesto will be read in defense of equality and the fight against gender violence.

That same day, at 21 hours, it will be held in the restaurant Los Arcos of Pedreguer the local dinner of the Xarxa de Dones, in which the 8 de març awards will be presented to the sisters Simón and the Asociación Antígona de Valencia. The event will feature a performance by Paqui Noguera and images of last year's dinner and a report on Xarxa's participation in the demonstration that 7 held last November in Madrid against male violence will be screened.
