X Marcha Solidaria of AMADEM will pass through the natural park of Montgó

AMADEM, Regional Association for Mental Health, has prepared for next Sunday 5 of October a new solidarity march that in this case will tour the Natural Park of Montgó with the aim of making visible to people suffering from mental disorders and their families and in which funds are collected from the registration for the development of AMADEM programs.

There will be two routes with different difficulty: the route of medium-high difficulty will depart at 9 am from the Pare Pere hermitage and has a circular route of 9,1 kilometers, with a drop of 370 meters, passing through the Racó del Bou and the Coll de Serrallo. The second route, of low difficulty, will start at 10.30 am from the Casa Forestal del Iryda, will follow the Camí de la Colònia until it reaches the Cova de l'Aigua and will return to the starting point. In total, a distance of 1,8 kilometers and 150 meters of unevenness. At the end of the routes, all participants will meet at the Iryda's house to celebrate a brotherhood meal, where food and drink stalls will also be set up.

The registration fee is EUR 8 5 for adults and for children, including a water bottle cap and a sandwich to eat.

The XNUMXth AMADEM Solidarity March was presented by the councilors of Social Welfare, Pepa Sivera and of Sports and the Environment, Juan Carlos Signes; the vice president of the association, Gisela Pelús; the AMADEM psychologist, Luisina Daives and Nacho Rodríguez, member of the association and technician in charge of sheltered housing for people with mental illness managed by AMADEM.
