February 07 from 2020 - 23: 12

The Cycling Volta a la Marina will celebrate, on Sunday, its fifth stage in Dénia, a test against the clock of just 3.500 meters but that will culminate at the top of the Governor's Palace in the Castle.

Being a stage of these characteristics, it is normal for attendance in terms of number of participants to be clearly diminished, but the best of each of the categories will be sure not to leave the opportunity to continue having options to get on the podium.

The organization has planned for the first runner to leave at 10 in the morning and then it seems logical that in the interval of one minute the rest will leave, being the last one to leave Aitor Escobar in his condition of first classified of the general.

The route that cyclists have to cover will run from the Baleària Port maritime station to the castle through the Museu de la Mar, Ronda Muralles and Les Roques neighborhood.

A time scale in which the leader, Aitor Escobar, will defend his jersey against his most immediate pursuer such as Sergio Torres. This cyclist from Gata de Gorgos will try to subtract the difference that Escobar makes, which is none other than 56 seconds.
