Via Augusta, protagonist of the first exhibition of «La Sala» del Castillo

From today and during the months of May and June, The Hall del Castillo de Dénia hosts an exhibition on the recovery plan of the Vía Augusta in the Valencian Community that the Generalitat is carrying out, a long and expensive project that will be financed, as pointed out by the regional secretary of Infrastructure and Transport, Victoriano Sánchez -Barcáiztegui, with 1% of Assets of Cultural Interest budgeted by the Department of Infrastructure.

The aim of this action is that citizens can enjoy walking or cycling a tour of historical and cultural character, equipping the road with additional facilities as shelters, information centers and rest areas.

Present at the opening of the exhibition were the regional secretary for Infrastructure and Transport, the mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, the councilor for Culture, Pepa Font, the mayor of Murla, Josefa Roca, councilors of the Municipal Corporation and the director of the plan recovery, José Manuel Despiau.
