The protector takes care of a neglected foal that was in the Marina of Dénia
Around 18:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon, pedestrians walking through the Marina of Dénia have witnessed this unusual image: the police and APAD volunteers attending to a horse tied under a lamppost in the parking lot.
The equine, a foal of barely age, was apparently being walked by the owner, who was in the place with signs of having abused alcohol, according to witnesses. The colt also did not have a good image, so some pedestrians have warned the police after witnessing them on that route so unusual for a horse.
According to the man, he was waiting for a partner who had a field with more horses to take him. However, the police have appeared at the scene, which have decided to notify the protective APAD to take care of the animal after verifying that it did not comply with the required vaccines.
The nerves and the fear of the colt were visible, according to the witnesses, which has hindered the work of the protector when it comes to the vehicle, finally requiring specialized transport for horses.
