The Dénia Local Police will start tonight the special device for surveillance and control of the agglomerations and compliance with the prevention measures of the COVID-19 in the nightlife venues of the city; measures taken in coordination with the business community of the sector, with which the chief commissioner of the Local Police has analyzed and assessed the possible risks and main problems that are detected to avoid outbreaks.

Starting at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, surveillance rounds will be held in the main nightlife areas to control compliance with distances in queues and access to establishments. Likewise, periodic visits will be carried out inside the premises.

In addition, the owners will maintain direct contact with the agent in charge of the night shift at all times in case there is a risk situation that requires police intervention.

Finally, it has also been agreed that Monday, the business community and the police chief will hold a new meeting to evaluate the results of the device.
