After the approval of the new projects that will benefit from the Plan Confianza money, the opposition groups in the municipality of Dénia have lamented that Joan Fuster's footbridge has not been included. Specifically, BLOC and CDL have coincided in lamenting that one of the most voted projects by citizens has been removed from the list.
Nationalist councilor Josep Crespo explained that the project, which obtained 303 votes and was above others included, has been withdrawn in favor of improving the lighting of the sports hall. According to Crespo, Joan Fuster's catwalk is "a solution of the most demanded by the neighbors (...), an infrastructure necessary for Dénia".
For its part, the CDL adds to the disappearance of the construction of the footbridge of the list of projects the disappearance also of the sociosanitary area of La Pedrera or the redevelopment of Fontanella Street.
Both councilors left the city once exposed their opinions, act criticized by the government team. Both Martinez and qualify the process Crespo "scam" y "kiding you" to the citizens.
At the end of the plenary session, Councilor Vicente Chelet explained that the projects that have been withdrawn are projects that needed more money than available, so they were replaced by others that could be assumed by the Trust Plan. Among other examples, he explained that the redevelopment of Calle Fontanella is budgeted at one million euros, but he did not comment on the Joan Fuster catwalk.
